Common questions.
Does it cost anything to be featured?
No. We do not charge for features, profiles or event listings, and no organization can buy coverage. Our editorial standards page states this in full.
Do you pay people you interview?
Sometimes. Where we compensate a subject for their time, the piece says so directly. Payment never buys editorial control or a guarantee of favourable framing.
Can I see the piece before it runs?
We confirm quotes and factual details with subjects before publication. Framing, headline and final editorial judgment remain with our editors.
How long is a typical piece?
Most run between eight hundred and fifteen hundred words, built around one clear decision or idea.
What makes a good pitch?
A specific decision with a before and an after. “We changed how we price work and here is what it cost us” is a story. “We are growing quickly” is not yet one.
How do I report an error?
Send the piece title and the detail in question to our corrections address. Corrections are published on the piece itself with a dated note.
